Handle - 1. FC-AFC BAYPOINT'S WESTMINSTER ABBEY, "Abbey," LF, Kenny Trott

Short - Through the strip then faded right but corrected herself and picked up the bird.

Right - handle - Hunted short along a point that was on the way to the right retired. After a couple of loops she drove on but was drawn to a flyer a few whistles and she was back on the bird.

Flyer - She got out of the water and was pulling hard left. She put on a hunt behind the guns. A few more loops and she was back on the front to the area of the fall and on the bird.

Left - She went over the fall of the short bird and through the pond into the area of the fall for a lovely finish to her National.

In The Books - Day 1 - Test 1

A wonderful first day and Test 1 is officially in the books at 5:05 pm.

The first dog to start the 2nd day, Monday, November 13 is dog #98 - FC AFC Hyflyer's Life In The Fast Lane (Crash).

The first test dog will be called to the line at 6:30 am with the first running dog at 7:00 am.

We will be posting the Callbacks to the 2nd series as soon as we get them from the judges.

Flyer - Straight out for the bird.

MR - Straight to the hen and back.

LR - A tight hunt and back with the bird.

Rerun - 67. FC MAGIC TRICK'S JAYLEE, "JJ," LF, Jim Beck

Flyer - A quick turn to pick up flyer as it fell behind bale and he was headed back with the bird.

MR - Through the ditch and then back into dig out the hen pheasant.

LR - Out to the long bird. A large loop and a swing back in the cover to dig out the bird.

2nd Rerun - 35. OAK RUN FLIGHT COMMANDER, "Jet," LM, Ed Forry

Flyer - Line to bird drifted down the hill causing a brief hunt. Recovered and brought back the bird.

MR - Angled the ditch and came back in to work out the location of the hen.

LR - Out to the area, a quick couple turns and back with the bird.

Handle - 71. FC LANE'S KREWE CHEIF, "Chief," LM, Mark Smith

Flyer - Quickly out and to the bird.

MR - A little turn into the ditch and he pulled out the hen.

LR - Broke down on way to long bird and was handled before established hunt.

70. FC AFC WOOD RIVER'S MR BIG, "George," LM, Alan Pleasant

Flyer - Straight to the bird and back.

LR - Appeared to go just left of the ditch. Headed on without hesitation to left retired gun. Promptly went into cover and out with the bird.

MR - Into ditch and hunted up the hen pheasant in no time.

69. FC AFC SON OF A PREACHER MAN, "Billy Ray," LM, Duncan Christie

Flyer - Straight to bird and back with the bird.

MR - Crossed the ditch a bit early but corrected to come back in and brought back in the hen.

LR - Good line to cover. Worked the area with a couple turns and out with the bird.

68. FC DUCK BUSTER'S RED BARRON, "Buster," LM, Paul Sletten

Flyer - Line drifted down the hill from where bird landed causing hin to established a large hunt.

MR - Angled into ditch in good shape to pickup hen.

LR - Entered cover and back with the bird.

No Bird - 67. FC MAGIC TRICK'S JAYLEE, "JJ," LF, Jim Beck

JJ and Jim had a no bird. They will run and the end.

66. NAFC FC TEXAS TROUBADOR, "Tubb," LM, Martha Russell

Flyer - Straight to the bird and back.

MR - Got to the area of the fall in the ditch and pulled the hen out of the cover.

LR - Squared the ditch early throwing him into a loop to the right but he quickly came back to the cover and pulled out the rooster.

65. FC CANDLEWOOD'S PACEMAKER, "Pace," LM, Wayne Curtis

Flyer - Ready to go! Rehealed and launched straight out and back.

LM - Launched but made a choice to go long. Out to the cover and back in with the bird.

MR - Resent - Spin on way to bird but got out to area and brought back the bird.

64. FC TAYLORLABS HOT CINNAMON BUNS, "Hottie," LF, Lynn Troy

Flyer - Straight out and Straight Back

MR - Angled the ditch and stayed in to bring back the bird.

LR - Straight there and back.

63. AFC BLACK SMOKE ARISING, "Smoke," LM, Augie Farnsworth

Flyer - Directly to the bird and back in.

MR - Angled through the ditch and stayed to work out location of the hen.

LR - Nice line straight to cover to pickup the rooster.

62. FC AFC LUBYS AND WHITEWATERS PIRATES JEWEL, "Jewel," LF, Ray Voigt

Flyer - Line breaking down hill causing her to established a hunt. She came back with the bird.

MR - Angled nicely through the ditch to make a gentle turn and pickup the bird.

LR - Nice line to long bird. Came up left of cover at end. Turned into cover and out with the bird.

60. FC-AFC LIL BIT'S TETE DE CUVEE, "Bubbles," LF, Alan Pleasant

Flyer - Good line out to flyer and headed back in.

MR - Good line to mark. A couple of loops and back with the bird.

LR - Little stumble en route but straight out to cover and good mark.

59. FC AFC JJ OF RED ROCK, "JJ," LM, Bill Totten

Flyer - Right to fall and back with his bird.

MR - Through the ditch with a couple of loops into the cover to pull out the hen.

LR - Nice line to the area of the fall with a quick turn in the cover to bring back the bird.

Unfairness In The Field - 57. FC AFC WHITEWATER BAMS TASTE OF JUICE, "Zest," LF, Eloy Garcia

Due to unfairness in the field with a live pheasant, Zest and Eloy will have a rerun at the end.

Flyer - Out and back with the flyer.

MR - Established a hunt to right of bird, but came up with the hen and back in.

LR - Coming into cover on left side of bird. She quickly picks it out and back to the line.

Flyer - Good line to area. A couple quick turns and brought back his bird.

MR - Angled the ditch and right on the hen for a quick return.

LR - Little stumble on the way out but recovered to go straight in on the bird.
